The density of water is highest at the temperature of 4degree Celsius.
because it shows the anomalous expansion.
that is on decreasing temperature its density increases but at 4 degree Celsius its density is highest. As the temperature continues to decrease it starts expanding and reducing its density.
Therefore, the water attains its highest density at 4° Celsius
