Given - Number of moles of neon gas = 0.654

Volume of neon gas = 12.3 litres

Pressure of neon gas = 1.95 atmospheres.

Find - Temperature of neon gas with respect to given values.

Solution - Ideal gas law equation relates all the given entities and hence can be used to determine the temperature of neon gas at given values.

Ideal gas law equation is given by the formula - P * V = n * R * T. In the formula, P is pressure, V is volume, n is number of moles, R is gas constant and T is temperature.

Value of R will be - 0.082 L atm K-¹ mol-¹.

Keeping the values in equation-

T = (1.95*12.3)/(0.654*0.082)

T = 23.9/0.05

T = 478 K.

Hence, the temperature of neon gas will be 478K.
