P=Rs.900

R=6%

A=Rs.1008

S.I=Amount-Principal

=1008-900=108

S.I =  \frac{PRT}{100}   \\ \\ 108 =  \frac{900 \times 6  \times T }{100}

T =  \frac{108 \times 100}{900 \times 6}  =  \frac{10800}{5400}  = 2

Time=2 years

The time rupees 900 will become rupees 1008 is 2 years.

Given:

The simple interest of 6% per annum is Rs 900.

To Find:

The time at which rupees 900 will become rupees 1008.

Solution:

To find the time rupees 900 will become rupees 1008 we will follow the following steps:

As given in the question,

Simple interest = 1008-900 = 108Rs.

Rate(r) = 6%

Principal(p) = 900Rs.

The formula for finding simple interest is:

simple \: interest =  \frac{p \times r  \times t}{100}

time(t) =  \frac{simple \: interest \times  \times 100}{p \times r}

t =  \frac{108×100}{900×6} =2 years

Henceforth, time rupees 900 will become rupees 1008 is 2 years.
