- Irrespective of the position of the object concave lens always produce image which is located in between the focus and the optical centre of the lens.
- The image characteristics are : Image is virtual, erect and diminished.
- See the ray diagram to get a clear picture.
- One paraxial ray undergoes refraction through the lens and gets diverged. Another ray passing through the optical centre goes undeviated.
- These two rays meet to form the image.
