The equation of the line is 5y-3x=11

Now,

Whenever a line cuts y axis , at point of the intersection,The value of x will always be equal to zero.

similarly:-

For a line passing through x axis ,The value of y always be equal to zero.

\rule{200}{2}

for  line passing through y axis:-

The equation will be as follows :-

\boxed{\bold{\red{\underline{x=0}}}}

\rule{200}{2}

Applying this logic to the question:-

5y-3x=11

x=0 for a line passing through y axis or intersecting y axis :-

hence :-

5y = 11

y = 11/5

\rule{200}{2}

At the point P(0,11/5) , the line 5y-3x=11 intersects the y axis.

\rule{200}{2}
