Given :  two Equations :  y   = x   + 5  , y = x² - 7

To find : intersection points of Equations

Solution:

y   = x   + 5

y = x² - 7

Equating y

=>  x² - 7  = 5 + x

=> x² - x  - 12 = 0

=> x² - 4x  + 3x  - 12 = 0

=>x(x - 4) + 3(x - 4) = 0

=> (x - 4)(x + 3)  0

=> x  = 4  , x  = - 3

y = 5 + x    = 9    ,  2

(4 , 9)   & ( - 3, 2) are the two points where equations intersects
