When we put the object beyond the 2F point in front of a convex lens, the image is formed between the 2F point and the focal point (F) on the opposite side of the lens. The position of the image does not depend on the exact location of the object, in this specified region. In this case, the image will be an inverted image. The dimension of the image is also smaller then the dimension of the object. So the image is reduced in size. The light ray converge at the image place so if someone put a screen at that place get exact replica of the object. In this case the image is a real image.

So the answer is put the object beyond the 2F point of a convex lens.
