Let p=original perimeter P+30=new perimeter

4(p+30)=5p multiply both sides times 4p to eliminate fractions.
4p+120=5p
p=120 subtract 4p from both sides.
p+30=150

Let the perimeter if given triangle be x cm

now since each side of the triangle is increased by 10 cm
so, net amount if perimeter increased = 3 × 10
= 30 cm

therefore new perimeter = ( x + 30 ) cm

now, it's given that the ratio of two perimeters is 5:4

=> x + 30 / x = 5/4
on cross multiplication
5(x) = 4 ( x + 30 )
5x = 4x + 120
5x - 4x = 120
x = 120

so, the perimeter of given triangle is 120 cm
