Answer:

help of strings, hands and rods.Puppets are made using different materials such as colth, cardboard ,wood and

terracotta, among other things. Sometimes hand and fingers are used as puppets as well.

The process of making a puppet starts on paper.Several sketches of a puppet are made before it is finalised by the

puppet maker. A model of a puppet is designed using cardboard and brown paper. This is called a mock- up version.

Sometimes ,ping pong balls or buttons are used to make the eyes. This rough, three-dimensional version of the

puppet gives a fair idea about the size and movability of the puppet. Clay is used to make different versions of the

same puppet. It is not possible to use a puppet in the same pose in different scenes. Hence, multiple sculpted versions

of the puppet are created with clay and water. The clay figures are covered in cling wrap and masking tape. After

covering, the shapes are cut out of foam. These pieces are then stuck together using an adhesive and the form is

assembled quickly. Everything is put together after which the moving mechanism for the hands, legs and head

becomes possible. The most challenging task of puppet making is getting the puppet's movements right. It is difficult

to make a puppet move.

When the puppet is ready to stand on its own, it is coloured . A plethora of colours are used to colour the puppet.

Once that is done, the puppet is ready.
