Answer:

so what is the diameter of the cylinder ?

it's not specified in the question

and is 4 m the slant height or the height or radius ?

sorry but I'm not able to understand the question.

anyways , I found a similar question ( it looks like its the same one) and according to it ,

h ( cylinder )= 2.1 m

d ( cyl) = 4 m

r = d/2 = 4/2 = 2m

slant height ( l ) [ cone ] = 2.8 m

Area of the canvas used

= CSA of Cone + CSA of Cylinder

= πrl + 2πrh

= 22/7 × 2× 2.8 + 2× 22/7 ×2 ×2.1

={22 × 2 × 0.4 } + { 2 × 22 × 2 × 0.3}

= 44 × 0.4 + 88 × 0.3

= 17.6 + 26.4

= 44.0 m^2 / sq. units

area = 44m^2

cost of canvas for one meter square

= ₹500

cost of canvas for 44 meter square

= 500×44

= 22,000

hope this will be helpful
