Given,

The area of a rhombus is = 48 cm square.

One of its diagonal is = 8 cm.

To find out,

The length of other diagonal.

Solution:

Let the length of other diagonal be "x".

Area \:  of \:  rhombus  \:  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times d1  \times d2

Here, d1 = diagonal 1 = 8cm

d2 = diagonal 2 = x cm

Area  \: of \:  rhombus  \:  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 8 \times x \\  \\ \: 48   = 4x \\  \\ x =  \frac{48}{4}  \\  \\ x = 12 \: cm

Therefore the length of the other diagonal of rhombus is 12 cm.
