Answer:

6 cm and 18 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

the area of trapezium is 360cm.the ratio of the parallel sides is 3:1.if the distance between the parallel sides is 30 cm,

To Find :-

Parallel sides

Solution :-

Let,

Parallel sides = 3x and x

Area of trapezium = ½(a + b) × h

360 = ½ × (x + 3x) × 30

360 = 15(4x)

360/15 = 4x

24 = 4x

24/4 = x

6 = x

Parallel sides are

x = 6 cm

3x = 3(6) = 18 cm
