Answer:-

Given:-

Difference between SP's of a T - shirt at profits 4% and 5% = 6.

Let the CP of the T - shirt be Rs. x

We know that,

SP = CP * (100 + profit%)/100

So,

When profit = 5% ;

⟹ SP = x * (100 + 5)/100

⟹ SP = Rs. 105x/100

Similarly,

when profit = 4% ;

⟹ SP = x * (100 + 4)/100

⟹ SP = Rs. 104x/100

Now,

According to the question,

⟹ (105x/100) - (104x/100) = 6

⟹ (105x - 104x)/100 = 6

⟹ x = 6 × 100

⟹ x = Rs. 600

The CP of the T - shirt is Rs. 600.

Given :-

The  difference between two selling prices of a T-shirt profits of 4%and 5%is 6

To Find :-

CP

Solution :-

At first we know that

SP = CP + Profit

Let

CP = x

Profit = 4/100 × x

Profit = 4x/100

Now

SP of T-shirt(1) = x + 4x/100

Taking LCM as 100

SP = 100 × x + 4x/100

SP = 100x + 4x/100

SP = 104x/100

Now

When profit becomes 5%

Profit = 5/100 × x

Profit = 5x/100

Now

SP = x + 5x/100

Taking LCM as 100

SP = 100 × x + 5x/100

SP = 100x + 5x/100

SP = 105x/100

Now

According to the question

\sf \dfrac{105x}{100} - \dfrac{104x}{100} = 6

\sf\dfrac{105x-104x}{100} = 6

\sf \dfrac{x}{100} = 6

\sf x = 100\times 6

\sf x = 600

CP is Rs. 600
