Answer:

Distance: 300m

Displacement:63.69

Explanation:

For distance,

1 round means 200m and half round means 200m/2=100m

So total distance= 200m+100m=300m

For displacement,

Since displacement is the shortest distance between between the initial and final position, after 1 round the person will be at the initial position from where he started, so displacement would be 0 but after half round more the person is exactly at the opposite of his starting point, so the displacement is the diameter of the circular track. Now since 200m is the circumference of the circular track, we can find the radius by 2πr=200m.

2*3.14*r=200m

r=200m/3.14*2

r=31.84m

Now, d=2r

d=2*31.84m

d=63.69
