Athena, the goddess of wisdom and battle planning, sprung from Zeus's head unannounced. Her mortal enemy was Arachne, whom she turned into a spider for her pride.

Athena was the goddess of wisdom and warfare. Her mother was Metis, Whom Zeus swallowed , because there was a prophecy that their first child would be a girl and the second would be a boy, who would one day, be the king of the cosmos. Inside Zeus' gut,Metis' daughter was born and Metis faded away into pure thought. Metis' daughter sprung from Zeus's forhead and called herself , Athena, the goddess of wisdom and warfare.
