Atleast 10 Hindi muhavare those are not popular and they are difficult to understand i.e. their meaning is not clear by their name

पत्थर की लकीर (patar ki lakir – to be firm on a decision)

उसको को कोई मना नहीं सकता, उसकी बात पत्थर की लकीर है.(मना सकना – able to convince someone)

He is always so firm on his saying that nobody can convince him otherwise.

ओस चाटने से प्यास नहीं बुझती.

अभिप्राय: बड़े काम के लिए बड़ा प्रयत्न करना पड़ता है .
