As we know that the Benzoic Acid is normally used as a food preservative. We can recognize the following questions with the help of given diagram.

Explanation :

There is given the temperature (in °C) on the Y-axis and there is given the time (in min) on the X-axis.

(1) (a) At the 20 min Benzoic acid begins to melt. (b) At the time after 50 min (51-52 min) Benzoic acid begins to boil.

(2) The melting point of Benzoic acid is between 100°C and 150°C according to given diagram. We can say that the melting point of Benzoic acid will be 120°C.

(3) As we know that the Benzoic acid begins to melt at 120°C at the time 20 min from starting so we can say that the until every particle of acid has melted, Benzoic acid remains the same at 120°C.

(4) As we can see in the diagram that Acid didn't begin to boil at the time of 35-45 min so we can say that at the time interval of 35-45 mins the acid is in the liquid state.

[ Points to remember : The Molecular Formula of Benzoic Acid is C6H5COOH Or C7H6O2 ]
