I received a letter from your brother yesterday. in it he had mentioned that you have been suffering from jaundice for the past twenty days. I am quite unhappy to hear about it because I know that to be bedridden would be unbearable to an active person like you.

however, I hope that this illness would be a temporary hindrance to your active nature because jaundice in modern times is not an incurable illness I trust you will be on your feet and up within few days.

please ask your brother to write to me once you discharge from the hospital. I will take the earliest opportunity to call on you on your discharge from hospital. till then all I can say is get will soon I shall earnestly pray for your speedy recovery.
