The troposphere (the lowest level of the atmosphere of which we live in) is mainly comprised of N2 molecules ( or ~71% Nitrogen). Next is oxygen, where the O2 molecules comprise approx 20% of the atmosphere. Water vapour and argon fill the majority of the remaining 9%, where the rest is filled by gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH3).

As you ascend higher into the atmosphere (Stratosphere, Mesosphere etc) things start getting different and I'm afraid I don't have too many answers about it.
