The pressure will decrease with altitude and increase as it gets closer to sea level (i.e. air pressure is lower, cooler and less dense at the top of a mountain than it is at the ocean). As a general rule, the standard atmospheric pressure drops 1 millibar for every 8 metres of altitude.
