Given,

  • The Length of Rectangle is 10 more than its breadth .
  • Perimeter of Rectangle = 400 m

To Find,

  • Length of Rectangle = ?
  • Breadth of Rectangle = ?
  • Area of Rectangle = ?

Solution,

⇒Suppose the Breadth of Rectangle be b

So,The Length of Rectangle = Breadth + 10

\mapsto \underline{\sf{\pink{According \ to \ the \ Question :}}}

\implies \boxed{\sf{Perimeter \ of \ Rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth)}}

\implies \sf{Perimeter \ of \ Rectangle = 2(b + 10) + b}

\implies \sf{2(2b + 10) = 400}

\implies \sf{4b + 20 = 400}

\implies \sf{4b = 400 - 20}

\implies \sf{4b = 380}

\implies \sf{b = \dfrac{380}{4}}

\implies \boxed{\sf{b = 95m}}

Therefore,

  • Length of Rectangle =  \sf{b + 10 = 95 + 10 = 95}

\mapsto \boxed{\sf{\red{Now, \ Find \ Area \ of \ Rectangle :}}}

\implies \sf{Area \ of \ Rectangle = Length \times Breadth}

\implies \sf{Area \ of \ Rectangle = 105 \times 95}

\implies \underline{\boxed{\sf{\purple{Area \ of \ Rectangle = 9975m^{2}}}}}
