Answer:max 2 electrons

Explanation:as if magnetic quantum number is 0 then azimuthal and principal quantum number are 0 and 1 respectively. So 1 represents Kshell so not more than 2 electrons con be accommodated in s sub shell

The number of electron in the element with m = 0 is 1.

Explanation:

Formula for azimutal number is as follows.

                      n = l + 1

where,     n = principle quantum number

                l = azimuthal quantum number

Values of n can be 1, 2, 3, 4 and so on. Whereas the values of l can be 0, 1, 2, 3, and so on.

Also, "m" is known as magnetic quantum number whose values can be equal to -l and +l.

So, when n = 1 then l = 0 and m = 0.

In the given element there are 8 electrons present in its valence shell and when m = 0 then it means l = 0. Therefore, value of n will be equal to 1.
