atom is made of e, p, and neuton inwhich proton's and electrons charge is 1.6x 10^-19 coulomb then proton is made of quarks of relative charge 1/3and 2/3, if possible quarks are further divided then I think we will get smaller amount of charge . then how can we say that charge is quantised ??
Answers
Answer:
quarks are some of the fundamental particles of the universe. They cannot be divided.
Another fundamental particle is the electron. As you know, it has a negative charge and cannot be split.
Quantization of charge simply means that all the charge in the entire universe is made up of these fundamental charged particles.
"As you go smaller, charge is divided."
This statement is sonewhat correct, but there is a limit to how small you can go(the planck length)
Similarly, there is a limit to how small charge can be divided.
Long ago scientists thought that the proton is a fundamental particle, but through experimentation (mainly at LHC),
we have found out the true fundamental particles.
In the end it is up to you what you believe. You may be correct, and if you keep working on this, you might discover something groundbreaking!
I can only provide you with the evidence that the scientific community has right now.....
