Hi friend

Your answer
--------------------

Atomic mass of chlorine = 35.5

Actually it is the average mass of two isotopes of chlorine -- Cl-35 & Cl-37.

Cl-35 is present 75% & Cl-37 is present 25%.

So,
-----
Atomic mass of chlorine = Average of Cl-35 & Cl-37

(35 \times \frac{75}{100} + 37 \times \frac{25}{100} ) \\ \\ = ( \frac{105}{4} + \frac{37}{4} ) \\ \\ = \frac{142}{4} \\ \\ = 35.5 \: u
