Atomic number of A ( SODIUM ) = 11

electronic configuration of A = 2,8,1

Atomic number of B ( CALCIUM ) = 20

electronic configuration of B = 2,8,8,2

Metal A is more reactive because it has only one valence electron to lose.

reaction:- 2Na + 2HCl => 2NaCl

metal a means sodium which has configuration is 2,8,1
means atomic no. is 11
while b element is calcium having configuration is 2,8,8,2
atomic no. is 20.

in which metal last shell has less electrons thos is more reactive means sodium is more reactive

reaction. .................NA+HCL it gives NACL+H

devnikhil10p5vvp9: A is Sodium (Na) whereas B is Calcium(Ca). Metal A is more reactive because it has only one valence electron due to which it can easily lose the electrons. Reaction is : Na + HCl => NaCl + H2
