Atoms are made up of subatomic particles.Subatomic particles(i.e. proton, electron and neutron) are made up of quarks.Ouarks have mass, and also occupy space. This suggests that they are matter. Are they, therefore made up of atoms?

Explanation:

No .

atoms are the smallest particle was assumed but later it was proven wrong ...in the big collider ...the atoms were collided at high velocities and it breaks down into smaller particles ..there particles made up the elementary atomic model ...

they were quarks , photons , neutrino, muons, tau etc .....these quarks are believed to be made of string like structures acc to the string theory, ...so quarks are not made of atoms...the form atoms and thry are made of string like structures may be caused due to electric fields inside at very high intensity
