ATPase is a class of enzyme that catalyze the decomposition of ATP to ADP.

This ATPase has 2 parts. V0F0 AND V1F1, ( a catalic hexamer (alpha 3, beta 3), a stalk , a base)

IT HAS 12 SUB UNITS - 3α 3β gama, rho,∈, a ,b , c. (find attached fig)

confirmational changes occure in catalytical hexamer part in β sub unit.

there are 2 types of atpase is seen. - in Mitochondria & chloroplast it is F type, in Vacuole it is P- type.
