Answer:
William Wordsworth is a great admirer of nature and sight of the ‘golden daffodils ‘ provides him with much pleasure . Once wandering lonely as a could he come across a host of daffodils which were growing beside the lake and under the trees . Much to his delight ,the daffodils seem to be fluttering and dancing in the breeze .
Wordsworth is so much impressed with the brightness of the daffodils that the second stanza of the poem he goes on to compare the daffodils with the stars . Just like star on the ‘ Milkey way ‘ , the daffodils are also continuously shining and twinkling enlightening the soul of the poet . Wordsworth makes very hyperbolic statement by saying that he saw ten thousands daffodils at a glace which were tossing there heads in sprightly dance .
In the third stanza that poet compare ‘the daffodils ‘ with waves of lake . It seems to him that the waves and daffodils are completing with each other and dancing . But the sparkling waves are defite inglee . Wordsworth reveals that having got the company of such a happy companion , he was very delighted so he repeatedly gazed at the daffodils though he initially could not understand that he earned a great wealth by grazing with the daffodils .
In the fourth and final stanza of the poem , the poet states that the memories of the daffodils flashes upon his in word eye when he was lying on his couch in a vacant or pensive mood . The poet regards the appearing of the daffodils upon his in word eye as the bliss of solitude he forgets loneliness . Instead , the appearance of the daffodils fills hart with the daffodils .
In the view of the above , it can be said that the view of the daffodils leaves a very long lasting and positive impression upon the mind of the poet .
