Judicial activism is an act of judiciary when it goes beyond it's normal work of justification and starts acting like a legislature and executive. It's an action when judiciary makes law by itself in certain cases when there is delay or ignorance on the part of legislature. But judicial activism should be used by Judiciary as the last resort. if it's used By judiciary on regular basis, the legislature will lost it's very purpose of existence and it'll be more like a judicial entertainment then judicial activism.
