  1. Diwali :-diwali is a festival of lights and Hindu celebrate it.on this day peoples light up their houses . childrens cracks the crackers on night with joy . peoples worship of lord Ganesha for good welfare and prosperity and goddess Lakshmi for wealth and wisdom.
  2. Dusshera:-it is a most significant festival of Hindus and celebrate across the country. it fall every year on month of September or October twenty day earlier to the Diwali festival. festival of Dusshera indicate the victory of lord Rama over demon king Ravana.
  3. Navratri:-it is a festival of Hindus and it is also called Durga Puja . Navratri occurs over nine days during the month of Ashvin.
  4. Onam :-it is celebrated with joy all over the state Malayalees of religion and caste.the festival is celebrated to welcome king Mahabali who visit at Kerala at the time of Onam.
  5. Holi :- it is a festival of colours .holi is celebrated in spring season beacuse it is welcoming spring.hindus believes that spring is full of Colours so they through colour water to each other.holi is based on the legend about king Hirnayakshipu.
