Dear Teacher,
Hello Madam! I am your favorite student Nupur Mahapatra of class X. I want to share you something with my winter vacation.
We visited Sambalpur, Odisha in this vacation. We stayed their for about four days. At first, we went to the Swamleshwari Mandir. We worshipped the goddess Swamleshwari. After one day, we visited the airport. We saw a very huge aeroplane landing there. I was fully excited. Then, we went to the Hirakud Dam, the largest dam of India. There, we saw a huge dam from which water a very huge flow was flowing there. At a distance, we saw that many people were washing their clothes, utensils, etc. with detergent! I was very surprised about that! It is very harmful for the Marine life. I went near them and told about it. They were unable to understand Hindi as well as English. Our car driver knew the local language of that region and told about it. They understand and a teacher came and blessed me. Then, I returned home.
So, this was my vacation. I promise that if I go next time, I will take you with us.
