HEY MATE!!❤❤HERE'S UR ANSWER!!! ❤❤

SOLUTION:

area \: of \: a \: parallelogram = base \times height(correspondig \: height)

area \: of \: prallelogram \: abcd \: with \: ad \: as \: base \: = area \: of \: parallelogram \: abcd \: with \: ab \: as \: base

ad \times de = ab \times bf

6 \times 8 = ab \times 4

48 = ab \times 4

ab = \frac{48}{4}

ab = 12cm

Since, as we know opposite sides of a parallelogram are congruent.

AD=BC=6 cm.

AB=CD=12cm.

Therefore,
we can now get the perimeter of the parallelogram ABCD ,

Perimeter of a parallelogram ABCD=AB+BC+CD+DA
=12+6+12+6
= 36cm

Hence,the perimeter of parallelogram ABCD =36cm.

PROPERTIES OF PARALLELOGRAM:

1. Opposite sides are equal.

2. Opposite angles are equal.

3.Consecutive(Adjacent)angles are supplementary.

4. If one angle is right then all angles are right.

5. The diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other.

6. Each diagonal of a parallelogram separates it into two congruent triangles.

Some extra information:

A Rhombus has the properties of a parallelogram as:
Two opposite sides are equal and parallel, opposite angles are equal.
A rhombus has properties of a kite as:
Diagonals meet at a right angle, and one of the diagonal bisects (cuts equally in half) the other.
