Good morning everyone present. I feel immensely privileged to have got the opportunity to express my views on ‘Attitude is more important than knowledge’. Mere knowledge without the right attitude and perseverance is useless. It has been rightly said that success is 90% perspiration, and 10% preparation. Knowledge figures quite low on the success ingredients recipe list. All the exceptionally successful personages whom we look upon as role models have been men and women of character, matchless integrity, dogged determination, and believers and doers of welfare works. They have been men of moderate intelligence and knowledge initially which they worked on perseveringly. Addison for example really had to work very hard and see many a failure before he succeeded in illuminating a bulb. Similarly, all great personalities and personages, who have left indelible prints of their lives on the sands of eternity, are the men and women of right attitude who converted their failures into success. The list is endless: Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, Socrates, Thomas Edison, Abraham Lincoln, Charlie Chaplin, Henry Ford, Bill Gates, Walt Disney, Helen Keller, Booker T. Washington, Mahatma Gandhi, and so on.

All the above mentioned names share one common thing; they were not quitters; they were winners. They knew the secret to be successful. They faced myriads of obstacles and hindrances without compromising with their vision and mission. They were ready to face as many failures as were required in order to be successful.

Helen Keller realized success by perseverance. Booker T. Washington also faced innumerable challenges before getting the crown of success. All the great men of all the times and all the climes share common success stories. They dared; they continued chasing dreams until they become realities. So if you have any dream, continue chasing it with all your heart. So always keep in mind knowledge is not enough if you are planning to achieve something BIG in life. The right, positive, optimistic, and tenacious attitude is all you require. Knowledge and other skills follow the man who has the right attitude.

Attitude is more important than knowledge because attitude matters more if you are working with a group of people and you have all the knowledge it is of no use if your attitude is not right.

With your knowledge you can get a good job but if you have a bad attitude and you don't get along with your colleagues, the boss of the company might fire you because every company needs flexible employees in their firm.

There a lot of smart people in the world who studied hard and even if someone went to Harvard but if they go out in the real world they do not have the right attitude to apply the knowledge they gained throughout their life.

In life no one is at the point where he doesn't need more knowledge you learn forever but people with bad attitude think they know it all and they are not willing to learn more which is the reason they don't go ahead in life.

With the perfect attitude, you can achieve everything in life because people are automatically attracted towards you, they pass good comments about you and only with good attitude one will be able to show his skills and the knowledge he has.
