Atul, Bhaskar and Chetan can complete a work in 10, 20 and 25 days respectively. What is the minimum time required to finish the work if not more than two of them work together on a single day and no two consecutive days have the same pair of people working?

Answer:

7 Days

Step-by-step explanation:

1st Day  - A&B

2nd Day - A&C

and now repeat this sequence till work is completed

A's 1 day work = 1/10

B's 1 day work = 1/20

C's 1 Day work = 1/25

A+B  1 Day's work = 1/10 + 1/20 =  3/20

A+C 1 Day;s work = 1/10 + 1/25 =  7/50

2 Days work =  3/20 + 7/50  =  29/100

Work completed in 6 Days = 3 * 29/100 = 87/100

Work done on 7th day  = 3/20

87/100 + 3/20  = 102/100  > 1

so on 7th Day work will finish
