Respected Sir,

Today I would like to complain about the poor Service offered by one of your store manager.I had purchased a VCR on August 13 from Smiley’s TV Town, Mumbai. The VCR came with a ‘ninety-day warranty against all defects’ and a guarantee for ‘in-home free repairs and labor’. On October 30, the VCR showed a horizontal line across the screen when replayed tapes. I called the store manager, Vikas Mallik, and explained the problem. Mallik said the horizontal lines were caused by a dirty head and told me to bring the VCR in for cleaning. He also told me that I would be charged for this service since dirty VCR heads were basic wear and, therefore, not covered by the warranty. I was angered by this response from the store manager and decided to write a letter of complaint to you with a hope that you would be able to help me.This kind of fraud will be bad for your company's reputation also.This is totally unacceptable, I want refund and swift action from your side otherwise please take away the product and give my money back.
