Aurangzeb was the last ruler of the great Mughals.He ruled for 49 years .During his reign ,the Mughal empire reached the largest size,covering nearly the whole of India.But Aurangzeb did not have a vision as a ruler.
He reintroduced the Jaziya which made him unpopular

He followed the policy of interference of in the affairs of Rajput states of Marwar and Mewar.
He increased the land revenues.
Aurangzeb was a strict disciplinarian .He was an orthodox God fearing Muslim.
