Aurangzeb who was governing the southern territories of Mutual Empire on behalf of the Emperor then , laid siege to Golconda . The sultan was defeated . To retain the kingdom he had not only to pay heavy amounts but also to agree to give his daughter to Aurangzeb's eldest son Mohammad sultan....
