we know that tangent at centre circumference make an angle of 90° .
so,
in Rt∆ OPQ,
OQ = 13cm (Given)
OP = 5cm (Radius)
By pythagoras theoram :-----
PQ = √OQ²-OP² = √13²-5² = √144 = 12cm (Ans)
