Answer:

we know that tangent at centre circumference make an angle of 90° .

so,

in Rt∆ OPQ,

OQ = 13cm (Given)

OP = 5cm (Radius)

By pythagoras theoram :-----

PQ = OQ²-OP² = 13²-5² = 144 = 12cm (Ans)
