Autobiography of “Disheartening Incident”
Everything was going on fine. It was just the way we had planned. We had never seen the sea before. Our parents were always so busy. So we decided that the four of us Ravi, Rohan, Vivek and I would go on a two day trip to Digha.
We set out early, caught the morning bus for Digha. The journey was comfortable and the bus dropped us just by the sea side.
Oh, how beautiful the sea was! We immediately headed for it. It was fun swimming in the sea. The waves came crashing on us. The whole day we spent at the beach. In the evening we checked in a cheap rest house. The following morning we were again at sea. This time we decided to go a little deeper. All of us were excellent swimmers except Rohan. As we swam deep a wave came roaring over us tossing us far away.
All of us swam like mad except Rohan. The swept him away. When we were back we realized what had happened. It was the most discerning incident of our lives. We lost our friend forever. Never will we see him again!
