Answer:

Heterotrophs are able to move from one place to another in search of food, autotrophs are not able to move. Heterotrophs obtain their energy directly or indirectly from other organisms, while autotrophs obtain energy from inorganic sources, where they convert light energy (sunlight) into chemical energy.

Autotrophs are those organisms who can make their own food and do not depend on others for the fulfilment of their nutrition. eg. all green plants. This process of making own food is called autotrophic mode of nutrition.

Heterotrophs are those organisms who can't make their own food and depends upon autotrophs for their food. eg. Humans. This process of depending upon others for food is called heterotrophic mode of nutrition.
