autotrophs are those plants which can prepare their food at there own. They required co2 , H20,and sunlight to complete this process.

photosynthesis:

6CO2 + 6H20 ------- in the presence of sunlight and chlorophyl= C6H12O6 + 6O2.

Heterotrophs are those animals or organisms which are not able to make their own food.They are dependent on other plants or animals.

example: humans, bacteria,fungi..ect.
