The natural availability of water can be affected by the annual rainfall in that particular country. For example in countries like Brazil that rain a lot will have a high natural availability of water but in countries like Egypt have low annual rainfall therefore have less natural availability of water. The countries that are water-rich (water-rich countries) are countries that have high total annual rainfall and countries that are water-poor.
