Nearly everyone knows about the five most important avatars of Lord Shiva - Tatpurush, Namadeva, Aghoresh, Sadhojat and Ishan. But to be quite factual, there are about 19 different avatars of Lord Shiva. Here's about them in brief :-
1. Krishna Darshan Avatar: In this manifestation or incarnation, Lord Shiva had highlighted the importance of yagnya and religious rituals.
2. Piplaad Avatar: In this incarnation, Lord Shiva was born as Piplaad to sage Dhatichi. He helped his devotees to get free from the Shani Dosha which is believed to cause grave misfortunes in one’s life. According to ancient puranas, Lord Brahma had named this avatar of Lord Shiva.
3. Nandi Avatar: This incarnation was to show that Lord Shiva is the master of all living beings on Earth.
4. Veerbhadra Avatar: This incarnation is said to be taken after the sacrifice of Sati when she jumped into yagna fire created by her father Daksha. He was dark as the clouds, had three burning eyes, and fiery hair and wore a garland of skulls and carried terrible weapons. This avatar indicated his love and care towards his wife, Sati.
5. Bhairava Avatar: This avatar also known as Kaala Bhairava, Kal Bhairab, Annadhaani Bhairava, Bhairon or Bhairadya. In this avatar, he cut off one of Lord Brahma's five heads to defeat Lord Brahma's arrogance and carried the skull for twelve years and roamed as a mendicant, until he was absolved of the sin. He is also said to be guarding each Shaktipeethas during this avatar.
6. Sharabha Avatar: This is said to be the 6th avatar of Lord Shiva. He is described as a bird with golden colour, with two uplifted wings, two red eyes, four legs in the form of a lion touching the ground, four legs with claws upwards, and with an animal tail. The top part of the body is human but with the face of a lion with an ornamented crown and side tusks. The lord had taken this avatar to contain Lord Narsimha (an Avatar of Lord Vishnu).
7. Grihapati Avatar: The 7th avatar of Lord Shiva. He was born on Earth as per the wishes of a devoted sage named Vishwanar and was given the name of Grihapati by Lord Brahma. The Shivalinga which Gihapati worshiped, later on became famous as 'Agnishwar linga’. Also, Lord Shiva made Grihapati the lord of all the directions.
8. Rishi Durvasa Avatar: In this incarnation, Lord Shiva was famous as a sage who had an extremely short temper and was indirectly responsible for Samudra Manthan. This avatar is said to have been taken to maintain the discipline of the universe.
9. Hanuman avatar: This avatar was taken during the time Lord Rama. Hanuman, one of the main characters of Ramayana, is said to have been born from Lord Shiva’s seed.
10. Rishabh Avatar: During Lord Vishnu's stay in the Patal Lok, many sons were born to Lord Vishnu, who were very wicked and cruel. Seeing this, Lord Shiva in the form of an ox killed the corrupt sons of Vishnu to restore balance to the Universe. At first, Lord Vishnu tried to attack him but ultimately he was able to recognize him and returned back to Vishnuloka.
11. Yathinath Avatar - Incarnation as the sage Yathinath. It represents the peaceful form of Lord Shiva.
12. Bhikshuvarya Avatar: In this avatar, Lord Shiva manifested himself as a beggar and advised a beggar woman to take up a poor orphan child.
13. Ashwatthama Avatar: Incarnation that represented Lord Shiva’s Kaal, krodh (anger) and Yam (death).
14. Sureshwar Avatar: Incarnation that represents the love and care of Lord Shiva towards his devotees. In this avatar, Lord Shiva manifested himself in the guise of Indra to test Upamanyu’s devotion. He is said to have got the name 'Sureshwar' as he appeared in the guise of Indra.
15. Keerat Avatar: Lord Shiva, in this form had taken a test of Arjuna and also killed the demon Mooka. Arjuna fought with Keerat over who killed Mooka and Lord Shiva revealed his identity. Arjuna was very ashamed of himself but Lord Shiva consoled him and gave his weapon Pashupat to him.
16. Sunatnartak avatar: Avatar taken by Lord Shiva to ask the hand of Goddess Parvati from her father, Himalaya.
17. Brahmachari avatar: Avatar taken by Lord Shiva to test Devi Parvati when she worshipped lord Shiva for years to make him her husband again.
18. Yaksheswar: Avatar taken to make the deities aware of the futility of their arrogance after drinking Amrit.
19. Avdhut avatar: This incarnation was to destroy the pride and arrogance of Lord Indra.

We all know that Lord Shiva is out God and he presents everywhere. He is the most powerful among the Hinfu Mythology's God. He has many Avatars like -
Piplaad Avatar - Shiva was born as Piplaad to Sage Dhatichi. It is believe that praying from Shiva will give u freedom from Shani.
Nandi Avatar - Nandi temple is famous in Karnataka. Where we believe that Shiva is present everywhere so in Nandi temple he is also present.
