Concept :-

• In this question, it's given that average age of 2 brothers and 1 sister is 15 yrs. We will find the real total age of them than add it with father's age. Then subtract it by the total age of the whole family.

Solution :-

If we see, there are 3 children and their average age is 15 yrs, so total age will be = 15×3 = 45 yrs.

Father's age is 41 yrs. Mother's age is x . Average age of 5 members is 25 yrs So, total age of 5 members = 25×5 = 125 yrs.

★ Father's age + children age + mother age = 125

= 41 + (15 × 3) + m = 125

= 41 + 45 + m = 125

= 86 + m = 125

= m = 125 - 86

= m = 39 years.

Therefore, mother's age is 39 years.
