Given data :

  • Total employees in company = 50
  • The ratio of the average age of all female to average age of all male employees = 6:7.
  • Average age of all the employees in a company = 32 years.
  • Percent of female employees in the company = 60%

To find : The average age of all the male employees.

Solution : Here we need to find, number of female employees in the company.

Let, female employees be A ,

→ { A/total employees } * 100 = 60

→ { A/50 } * 100 = 60

→ A/50 = 60/100

→ A/50 = 0.6

→ A = 0.6 * 50

→ A = 30

Now, to find male employees in company

→ Male employees = 50 - 30

→ Male employees = 20

Female employees in the company is 30 and male employees in the company is 20.

Now,

→ Average age of all the employees

= age of employees/ total employees

→ 32 = age of all employees/50

→ age of all employees = 32 *50

→ age of all employees = 1600 years ....( 1 )

Now, according to given,

Let, the average age of female employees be 6x and the average age of male employees be 7x .

Hence,

→ age of all employees = 30 * 6x + 20 * 7x

{from ( 1 )}

→ 1600 = 180x + 140x

→ 1600 = 320x

→ x = 1600/320

→ x = 5 years

We know, by assumption,

→ average age of male employees

= 7x

By substituting value of x

→ average age of male employees

= 7 * 5

→ average age of male employees

= 35 years

Answer : Hence, average age of male employees is 35 years. { option ( 1 ) 35 years }
