ANSWER::

It is so simple....
The actual no. is 9 also written as 09
So, by interchanging it we will get. 90
Therefore, 90 is a two digit no....

Now the difference between 2-digit no. is 9...
Because 9-0=9

The two numbers hence, their difference cannot be determined (D).

Given:

Average of two numbers =9

To find:

Difference between the digits of the number.

Solution:

Let, Of the two numbers, the first number be A and the second  be B.

We have been given that the number is a two digit number, hence,

Let the one's digit of the number be 'y' and the ten's digit be 'x'.

The number A will be 10x+y      (i)

Now, the digits of the number are exchanged.

Hence, number B will be 10y+x   (ii)

Now,

The average of the two numbers A and B

Average=\frac{(A)+(B)}{2}

This value is given as 9,

Solving this, we get A+B=18

Since, sum of 2, two-digit numbers cannon be 18.

Hence, we cannot calculate the numbers.

Final answer:

Since, the data given to us is insufficient.Therefore, the solution cannon be determined (D).
