let the one side of triangle be x
then the length of 2 side =2x
2x=x+6
2x-x=6
x=6
area of triangle =1/2×b×h
=1/2×6×6
=3×6
=18
then the length of 2 side =2x
2x=x+6
2x-x=6
x=6
area of triangle =1/2×b×h
=1/2×6×6
=3×6
=18

you are wrong because the traingle is not isosceles, equilateral triangles so the sum have not to be 2x it can be x and y
