answer : option (c) 5.6 × 10-²¹ J

average kinetic energy per molecule of an ideal monoatomic gas is given as, K.E = 3/2 kT

where k is Boltzmann's constant and T is temperature in Kelvin.

here T = 0°C = 273 K

k = 1.38 × 10-²³ J/K

so, average kinetic energy per molecule = 3/2 × 1.38 × 10-²³ × 273

= 3 × 0.69 × 10-²³ × 273

= 565.11 × 10-²³ J

= 5.6511 × 10-²¹ J ≈ 5.6 × 10-²¹ J

hence, option (c) is correct choice.
