Average of X, Y, Z is 24, X:Y = 2:3, X+Y = 60, then find X-Z=?​

X+Y=60 (1) ........(Given)

Average of X, Y, Z=X+Y+Z/3 .......(formula)

24 = 60 +Z/3 .....(from 1)

72 =60+Z

Therefore,Z=12

X:Y=2:3 ....(Given)

X/Y=2/3

3X=2Y

Y=3X/2 .......(2)

X+Y=60 ......(from 1)

X+3X/2=60 .....(from 2)

5X/2=60

X = 60×2/5

X=24

Therefore,X-Z=24-12

=12

Answer:-X-Z=12
