average temperature of earths surface is increasing from 1 degree Celsius to 3 degree Celsius.this puts island like Maldives under the risk of submerge ncert. explain with reasons​

This is because the increasing temprature helps in increasing global warming which eventually leads to melting glaciers and increase in sea level the maldives is situated at 1 m above the sea level which is very low and if sea level increases maldives will submerge

this can also be illustrated as

take a heavy stone as maldives keep it in a tub or bucket then pour some water to the vessel till only very little of the stone is dry

this will be the current situation of maldives

now add more water slowly to it this will illustrate rise in sea level add water slowly till it is completely submerged
